<When has a deficit hurt you?> ... EVERY DAY ..... .......... Carrying the deficit erodes social programs and is a back-door inflationary weapon. Haven't you seen the horrible destruction of the dollar just in the last year? The Canadian dollar, for example, has gone from being worth 65¢ to 82¢ (US) in just the last 18 months, I believe. My bank accounts are being eroded so that when I split this ridiculous country in the near future it won't get me as much in a civilized country to which I move. /john
