Corel Corp. has just signed a $2.5- million contract from the U.S. Justice Department to supply 13,000 upgrades of its specialized office software for lawyers to the department's legal and administrative support staff.
The Ottawa-based software developer also signed another recent deal with New York-based legal giant Sherman Stirling to provide the firm with it Web-based Office Suite for the legal profession, now under development.
