This was said of Reagan as well. Now we find that most economists have flip flopped on the ROI of spending during that time. Also keep in mind that Bush doesn't appropriate funds...congress does.

100% agree. But we live in an immediate gratification society that wasn't willing to suffer a long recession (which was needed after the 90's).

Kerry has no history of dealing with budget issues. While he takes ownership on behalf of his party for paying down the debt in the 90's he was not responsible for it happening. An economic anomaly was and Clinton didn't screw it up. What we know for sure about Kerry is he will raise taxes at the drop of a hat and thats no solution either. He is a dubious choice to say the least even if you don't like Bush.
