presuming that there has been errors in the Iraq war, there is a world of difference between a mistake and knowingly working for an enemy of the United States while at war with them.

In the first case the people of the United States can hold Bush responsible on Tuesday.

In the second case, it's courtroom time.

Let me clarify something. There are two qualities of proof involved here with two different qualities of results. Almost two different issues.

Treason:

Under some sections of law, Kerry could be sent to prison. That would require a "beyond reasonable doubt" level of proof.

Under Amendment 14, section 3 the requirement is just for a majority of weight of proof. Not beyond reasonable doubt.

It's like the difference between criminal and civil courts.

I believe that enough proof exists to send him to prison. If so, then he certainly is disqualified from office by the other standard.
