Hello, Graystone. No, it did not take me four years to pay my power bill. Forgetting to pay it, and some other notable (to me) incidents like spacing out picking up my daughter after school once because I had been living on three or four hours of sleep for several years because of my compulsive interest in posting to people who seemed very interesting but whom I didn't really even know, simply convinced me it was time for a long break. I did not actually remember my password. I am only here because SI Admin Dave was somehow finally convinced that I was really me. Thanks to the SI members he contacted who vouched for me! I tried to look at the Chickanery thread briefly and could not make sense of it. My time here is pretty limited because I have a family, five pets, a job and have fallen back in love with reading novels, after a long absence from that. So I don't think I will be doing a lot of thread hopping. Perhaps you could summarize Chickanery in a more complete way so I know what's going on over there. I would also appreciate knowing a little about what has happened to SI since I have been gone, if you or someone would fill me in.
