GTE has majority stake in BC tel (a relatively large TELCO) and Quebec Tel, a relatively very small entity compared to BC Tel,I believe. The former choses DMT, the latter RADSL.

Any one care to comment on the GTE's strtagic role in the choices made by their subsidiaries.
