Fantasy Final Ad Campaign

If I was Kerry my final 2 minute spot ad campaign played on the radio and TV would go like this:
======================================================================
Fellow Americans no doubt you have heard Bin Laden's latest taunts against our great nation. That he is alive and able to do this is a direct result of failed Bush policy. President Bush dropped the ball on capturing Bin Laden when we had him cornered. Istead he turned our focus to Iraq in huge rush to judgement.

The facts are now in. Commissions that president Bush himself authorized have reported there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Against the advice of our allies, president Bush rushed to judgement. His own commission has just concluded there were no Iraqi ties to Al Qaida: another rush to judgement. The rush to judgement in Iraq has cost over 1000 brave US soldiers lives. It has cost the US over $150 billion dollars, and just recently president Bush asked for another $70 billion dollars. That makes the total $220 billion dollars and growing. This money could have been spent here at home on jobs, on education, on homeland security, and on medical benefits for the elderly.

If you want 4 more years of excuses for failing to capture Bin Laden, by all means vote for George Bush.

If you want 4 more years of rushing to judgement against the advice of our allies, by all means vote for George Bush.

If you want 4 more years of tax breaks for the top 1% of wage earners at the expense of the midlle class, by all means vote for George Bush.

If you want to continue the ban on drug imports from Canada, and continue paying the highest drug costs in the entire world, by all means vote for George Bush.

If you live in OH, MI, PA, or any other industrial state and want to see continued job losses to India and China, by all means vote for George Bush.

If on the other hand, you think our country is on the wrong track, and if you think its is time to correct that course, please vote for me.

I am John Kerry and I approve this message.

This campaign would have the neocons having to defend about 6 failed policies at the same time. They would not know where to even begin. It would in fact be impossible. There is no counter for the simple truth.
Bush did drop the ball, he did have an insane rush to judgement, we do pay the highest medical costs in the world and whether or not it is Bush's fault, we are losing jobs to India and China.

That is it, right there in a nutshell. Most voters minds are already made up. This ad is designed to appeal to the undecided voters, voters that typically break against the incumbant. Those voters do not need to see a reason to vote for Kerry they need strong reasons to vote against someone.

If we could have seen this ad repeatedly ever since that Bin Laden tape came out, repeatedly over the final 4 days of the campaign, it would be a Kerry landslide IMO.
