Nixon once called us the Silent Majority. Now, my guess is that we are a disproportionate percentage of those who are connected to the Internet, and are silent no more.

I have had it UP TO HERE (somewhere above my eyebrows) with getting my news filtered through MSM. I don't even watch FOX anymore unless they are playing news event in real time. I don't CARE about the blow-by-blow in the Laci Peterson murder case, and I refuse to watch any more semi-famous pundits robotically shouting talking points at each other.

The local Fairfax papers manage to make money throwing a free paper in my driveway every week - and the local alternative paper manages to make money giving away a free paper at coffee shops and metro stops every week. I will read the WashPost if it's free (paid for by ads).

I refuse to spend money any more on leftwing propaganda. My husband has been in this mode for as long as I've known him. He's so mad he won't even see a movie with a lefty nut in it. I agree not to watch people Sean Penn or Janeane Garafolo but they're losers anyway. I will still watch people like Johnny Depp and George Carlin who may be lefties but are talented. But I wish they'd realize that venting their political opinions loudly and frequently turns off as many as it thrills.
