Thanks for the thoughtful response.

I think that looking at Bush's record before he became president, and even up until 9/11 would lead you to believe he would not be a foreign adventurer. he campaigned that way in 2000.

If 9/11 changed everything....it did it for both. I will give Kerry the same leeway I have given Bush after 9/11. I still don't like the secrecy. I don't like the failure to support the 9/11 commission, to set up Homeland Security. Then later he acts as if he supported creation of both. If, as he says, we always know where he stands....then taking his record as Governor, his pledges during 2000 and his actions on the items I list above would indicate to me he "blows with the winds".

Now, if 9/11 changed everything, Kerry also gets a fresh start to show how he will act in the post-9/ll world. If he fails to carry out...you can recruit me back in '08 for (who will it be?).

Again, thanks for the response. I don't call Bush "shrub" or otherwise denegrate the office of the Presidency. I just don't think he has done a good job in the role and a change is needed.
