If the Russians really did remove the explosives, are you going to apologize? Perhaps I am the only one with a memory, but I recall news reports about convoys streaming into Syria during the conflict. News commentators mentioned at the time that there had been unusual truck activity into Syria leading up to the liberation.

There are multiple plausible explanations. Why is the only one that counts the one in which the United States looks bad?
