Thank you for the welcome KLP (Karen) and I enjoy reading this thread and it is a fun thread and am happy to be invited. I enjoy the history of Ish's posts and the information from all. Yes, remember the days of putting laundry out on the lines. Loved the fresh smell of sheets dried in the sun. Miss that with dryers and Bounce doesn't even make them smell that way. My Mom always said progress took a lot of things away from the old days. She remembered scrub boards before wringer washers came into being. Think I enjoy the progress made more. I am also a gadget person and love to go to the Dollar Store to see what is new that I just have to have and look through the catalogs for same. lol Catalogs and junk mail makes up most of my mail. The junk mail goes in File 13 and the catalogs get stacked up for when I have time to look through them. Lately the junk mail is getting horrendous. Would like to have the money they spend on postage alone, even though it is 3rd class postage.
