Except that you already have truth on your side. Taiwan is independent. There has to be a change in that truth for Jay and Yiwu the Mad to be right. Meanwhile, every day that goes by, they are wrong once again, perhaps for always.
They think they have magical crystal balls which give them, like King George II, a special insight to the way the truth and light. As King George II found, "Mission Accomplished" can be counting chickens before the chicken flu has hatched. Things can go awry in the best laid plans of mice, men and megalomaniacs.
As Jay says, we'll just have to wait and see who is right.
Meanwhile, we are right and they are wrong. Maybe they will be right and Taiwan will join up with China, one way or another. But so far, they haven't. So they are wrong.
If it has taken half a century for the reamalgamation and a third of a century since Ping Pong and Richard Nixon gave credence to China's claim to be Big Boss Man, then perhaps it will take another 3 centuries for said amalagamation. Or something else entirely will happen before then. Such as both will join up with the NUN in a new, great and glorious NeoRoman Empire.
