I didn't equate them. But they show that the overthrow of the regime did not come out of nowhere, and Clinton's early support of Bush's policy shows that, in the light of 9/11, even he would likely have sought a quicker resolution to the Iraq issue. Thus, invasion was a natural evolution from Clinton Administration concerns and policy.
