There is nothing "natural" about the invasion of Iraq. Clinton was many things as President -- but he was not a fool, and only a fool would have gone down the path chosen by Bush. Ideology can drive people to do foolish things -- it is the neocon ideology that led to the invasion of Iraq, not 9/11 and not terrorism. Iraq was not invaded to rid us of an WMD threat or a terrorist threat -- Iraq was invaded because it fit the neocon agenda. Clinton would never have been so foolish as to buy into this agenda.
