There will be hell to pay if the truth should come out while he is president. A wounded Kerry presidency would, on the whole, be superior to one in which he was able to wield power without reservation. One thing I've been wondering about -- suppose Kerry decided to withdraw our troops from Iraq, and Congress overrode him -- speaking hypothetically -- it seems to me that under the Constitution Kerry would have no choice but to maintain the war as directed by Congress. Leaving aside the wisdom of such a situation, do you agree with me on the legality?
