Remember folks as you go to the polls tomorrow, vote NO on all California propositions. These are all being driven by special interests and none of them will have any benefit to you with the possible exception of 59.

As an example, the three-strikes proposition #66 is being bankrolled by a wealthy insurance businessman in Sacramento who is trying to buy freedom for his murderer son who is in prison now serving a three-strikes life term. This proposition eliminates several categories of felonies from being considered the "third-strike" and would be enacted retroactively if passed. So this murderer will be out by Christmas if you don't vote NO. Not to mention hundreds of other cases which will have to be re-tried clogging the courts for years.

Also, the stem-cell proposition #71 is a gravy-train grab for money by a few corporations hoping to cash in on the hype. It's a bond measure funding over 10 times the amount the Federal government has set aside for stem-cell funding. So little work is being done in this area now that much of the Federal funds (~$100 million) have not even been requested. So where does all this money go? No one seems to know. What good will it do? No one seems to know.

The elimination of partisan elections proposition #62 opens the door for Democrats to monopolize elections all over the state. It's no secret that the majority of voters in California are liberal Democrats living mostly in Orange and San Francisco counties. This proposition would allow these voters to take over the general primary with two candidates. It would not, as some think, allow lesser candidates to have a fair chance. Don't be fooled. We have a system that isn't perfect but it has been tested by time and 49 other states so don't mess with it. California is quickly relegating itself to political obscurity and this proposition will move us in that direction even faster.

Vote NO across the board. With the exception of 59 which is a don't care in my mind and I would tend to think it beneficial.
