QTEL may have gone with RADSL for the same reason GTE went with WSTL for their GOVT contracts. The role of GTE in this decision process is to diversify the portfolio. 80/20 DMT/CAP. Like IBM going with both INTC and AMD. After saying that, the thing that I want to underline is Not all 80% of DMT was made public. As u might have read between the lines, the qtel 500,000 customers are mostly in the rural areas...not much of Efficient Bandwidth is required for the tractor to run. Well! I will pen off.
