categorizing is in no way intolerant

But, you offered me a choice of several categories, asking to which - I should tell you - I belong -- with all of the choices being totally demeaning. Joe Stalin would "categorize" a person as an "enemy of the people" - and such categorizing was a death sentence.

The Right does not have a monopoly on stupidity. In MY experience of talking with many, many people, do you know what were the most common replies to the question as to why they support Kerry? "I hate Bush!" "Bush is a moron!" - and that was the extent of their wisdom - and a good many of those people are physicians, professors, etc. Go figure.

I am not uncomfortable with the intellectual basis for my support for Bush. And my rejection of Kerry was not casual. I gave it enough thought.

Here is a link to a rather lengthy article by Norman Podhoretz, where he does a fairly good job spelling out the so-called "Bush Doctrine". Don't expect anyone to buy into it... but in the name of "tolerance" many would do well to familiarize themselves with some of the works by pro-Bush intellectuals.
