Please, not Florida 2000 again. That election was a clusterf--k, and because it was a tied clusterf--k we all got to see it up close and personal. I don't think the media deliberately tried to suppress the Panhandle vote, they were just impatient to began calling results, and I know the Palm County elections officials didn't mean to give 3000 Al Gore votes to Buchanan by mistake, but they did, and the conditions for the perfect political storm were set in motion. A nightmare that has every elections official in the country praying tonight, "Please, Lord, let it be a landslide!"
