Trish: I looked at the ASND chart. End of August and September month has been very good ASND.

My personal experience in finance corporate world is the following. If there is any doubt about meeting the earnings normally company will immediately come out and warn the investment community. They will not give a false hope or hide things. Since ASND openly told us an upbeat opinion close to a month or so ago about this quarter, they should be able to meet or beat the #s. Look at this way, Mori Ejabat has been with the company for so many years and he is founder (I think ) of this company. Those guys knows the industry and the trend much much better than you ,me or any body in this thread knows. All I hear in this thread is the tone of day traders who normally dont care about both short and long term outlook of the company. My bet is unless we hear from the company let us not panic.

I clearly remember Erika Claur of Solomons downgraded AMAT at 62 to hold. She upgraded it at 102 from hold to strong buy. I hope everybody got what I really mean. IMO Networking is booming. There are very few players in this market and almost all of them are in bay area competing for the world market. The problem is that they are confusing the analysts. Now a days analysts are lazy and they need lot of help and hand holding from the companies to guide them and educate them about the industry and the companies. A clear signal from ML is that they dont understand the numbers and they are silently telling us that ML is not getting any clue or help from the companies.

IMO ASND has a lot of potential
