Carolyn:

I wanted to let you know that our 26 year old went to a Halloween party on Saturday night. He said there were about 30 people, and that the election was very much on the minds of everyone there. He said he talked to nearly everyone about how they planned to vote on Tuesday, and that 9 out of 10 told him they were going to vote for Bush.

He voted absentee last Tuesday, and our youngest son will go to the polls after work tomorrow night to cast his vote. He said it was important to do so, and that the after work crowd would be a hassle, but that it was important to him.

I think younger people understand how important it is to keep Bush in office, and that that they are very much aware of the GWOT. I think the Kerry campaign likes to think they are hip and therefore believe they will attract more young votes, but I don't think young people appreciate the dig on our nation from the Hollywood and musical hipster weenies.
