I hesitate calling the Saudi economy successful but it is definitely prosperous. Now that Iraqis have passports I suspect at least some will go to work in SA. Unemployment in Saudi Arabia among Saudis is something like 25%. Saudis pay outside laborers (mainly Philippinos, Indians and Pakistanis) something along the lines of $300 per month + communal housing (like living in a barracks).
