FWIW ..Results of first ballot..2004 U.S. presidential election Bush 19 Kerry 7 in Dixville Notch ---Bush also won the vote in Hart's Location, which managed to report its results slightly earlier this year; Bush — 16, Kerry — 14, and Nader — 1.

Fwiw..Citizens in two tiny New Hampshire towns were the first to have their ballots counted in the the 2004 U.S. presidential election. In Dixville Notch, the more famous of the two due to its longstanding tradition of early voting, the results favored the incumbent: Bush — 19, Kerry — 7. Bush also won the vote in Hart's Location, which managed to report its results slightly earlier this year; Bush — 16, Kerry — 14, and Nader — 1. (4:00 AM, Associated Press)

Comments. .Looks like pollsters may be shocked. it may not be a close call whosoever win will win tonight, and by the looks of Dixvile Notch results it may not be a long night for Bush supporters..
