Jas, The strategy works pretty well for me. I NEVER margin up to the limit.permitted under SEC rules, usually up to no more than 30% of my marginable securites. Right now CSCO is my largest long and I am basically 100% in the market for the long term. I ONLY use margin to take advantage of dips. I hold 7000 shs of COMS which I bought last week....Am I worred? No! I look out to the future and do what works for me. I usually sell my short term margin holdings when they move about 5 to 10% beyond recent highs. Hope you understand now. Good investing, Eric
