Can anyone confirm takeover rumor? Some guy on raging bull posted this: Wall Street News Blog has learned that Paul Riss, the CEO of eLec Communications (OTCBB: ELEC), has been contacted with regard to an acquistion offer for the company. Sources tell WSNB the suitor is a publicly traded NASDAQ company that has offered stock equal to 85 cents per ELEC share. ELEC currently trades in the 25 cent range. ELEC has not yet publicly commented on the offer and it is not clear as to whether Riss has officially informed his entire board of the offer. -- I don't know what to make of this.
