And besides, I think we're all citizens of the country before we are citizens of our states.

What's wrong with "One Man <person>, One Vote"? What does the convoluted electoral college system get us, beside a freaking mess? Why shouldn't a person that lives in CA or IL feel that their vote makes a difference in a deadlocked election?

Final question; would you change your mind if Bush wins the pop and Kerry the elector? I think that is a real possibility.
