No. It is an interglacial period. Some times they get cooler again, other times they warm up more.

And yes, higher CO2 concentrations are associated with warmer weather. Now over the past century or so, humans have been burning wood, oil and coal at much higher rates than the past. This correlates pretty closely with increases in CO2 levels in the atmosphere. So did we just get lucky and engaged in these activities at the same time that the natural level was increasing?
