Welcome back, Kirk. Hope your new quarters are to your satisfaction. There has been a slew of news regarding the virtual pet craze. "Craze" is the operative word here. I have reminded myself that the toy graveyard is replete with fads and crazes from times past. As noted on the Playmates thread, there is already some evidence that the virtual pet fad is cresting in Japan. To wit, I have read that certain important Japanese retailers are reporting slowing sales. However, the world market beckons, and there is doubtless further mileage to be had from this vehicle before the inevitable diminution of interest.
