7:16 PM PST: It's over NOW and, to the dangerous detriment of the entire world, but especially America's, Bush has won it. The "cellphones-for-Kerry" suggestion has been thoroughly debunked, and the record turnout did NOT favor Kerry to the extent anyone--including me--expected. The fact is, white males do run the country and therefore have influence and leverage beyond their numbers. MCP's or not, Bush having north of 70% of their support is a tough row for any opponent to hoe. Ah well. All you can do now is hope that in the next four years it gets bad enough to wake a few more people up but not bad enough to do too much damage. Because it's definitely going to get bad. --QS
