Midnight in Toronto and Bush looks like a winner depending on Florida and that is about 90% counted. I can't believe it on one level. But I think the NYCity attacks have had a major effect on the US and that won over the futility of the last 3 years. As well the Afgan victory (so far) and the fact that something like an election was conducted haven't been overlooked (except by the US media)--an apparent success.
