Michael, regardless of our political views there is no way to remain ultra bearish the general markets here. It is not good for ones health.

MO is based on EW. This last move down in the DOW for example now looks almost for sure to have been an abc, not the start of a 1 2 3 .... It has risen too far back up to be the latter. All these bear counts by the bears are wrong wrong wrong, they have been wrong and continue to be wrong. As for me my Ebay poots confirm. I hope to salvage what I can out of them over the next few weeks, and that is it.

I am looking for a retrench here, but I think the lows for the year may have been put in. This market looks to me to actually be trending up again, but will likely remain range bound for several months. I think it peters out finally next year, mid year or so. Between now and then I will only play some poots, for shorts.

I think an uptrending market here will actually be positive for gold, as well. If money comes out of bonds there will be enough to go around.

In the longer term I don't think any of this related to politics.
