I know where they came from. That doesn't mean Saddam wouldn't have helped terrorism in any way he could. Hell...he paid Palestinian families 25k who lost loved ones by becoming human bombs and killing jews. And It's a great base! Iran is surrounded and the rest are about 45 minutes away. <<He didn't like religious extremists>> I don't know about the religious part but he didn't mind his sons.
