No doubt. Consider this, in 2000 Bush received 50,456,169 votes. In 2004 (thus far) Bush has received 58,320,992. The "get out the vote" effort by the Bush team nailed nearly 8 million new voters.

Put another way, 8 MILLION more Americans voted for George W Bush.
