Off topic.

I don't normally put much faith in polls, but I thought this one was interesting:

story.news.yahoo.com

The item I find most remarkable is the perception on the religious right that Bush is a moral person. On a 10 Commandment basis, about the only thing he didn't do is cheat on his wife. He's born false witness against his neighbors. He's murdered. He's stolen. Etc. How a Christian person is able to translate some of the most reprehensible acts imaginable from a religious standpoint, into high moral character, is beyond my ability to comprehend. Even more amazing is the fact the Democrats are fully aware of the support coming from that sector, and never once launched an attack from that direction.

Even more incredible is that roughly a quarter of the population or less believes either candidate gives a rip about them personally. Why on Earth would three fourths of the population support anyone, from either party, not fully committed to making their lives better?

About the only thing that makes sense is uneducated women supporting Bush. For those who spend their days watching soaps in the trailer park, Bush would be their kinda guy
