Congratulations to George Bush. The people have spoken.

Kerry did the right thing by conceding. He would have had very little power in terms of pressing any democratic issues, regardless.

We can only hope that President Bush can set aside the religious war mentality and find a higher and more noble road. The world needs freedom, individual rights, and the rule of law. It does not need any particular religion...nor should the State permit any religious bias to infect social policy.

To unite for religious reason is to oppose the brutality of fanatics with the abandoned values of the mindless. "I (WE) are right because my (OUR) God is right" is a recipe for madness.

Let us remember the Constitution and all the benefactors of history...and take a higher road than religious justification.
