She might, but the situation is discouraging. The country may not accept a highly liberal candidate. Look for a rerun of Gephardt, a run by Mark Warner or a similarly situated moderate southern governor, perhaps a try by Barbara Boxer if Hillary declines. No one is leaping out to me, though. I think Schumer might try, but he will get creamed in early primaries.
