John, the large biotech companies are where the future is.
Most of the old line pharma companies will, over the next few years be on an acquisition hunt. I suspect there will be a lot of consolidation we will see.

In any event, while a Bush win is positive for the industry, it doesn't do anything for the slow growth of the old line companies that are facing patent expiration which brings on generic competition and does little for modest pipeline realities.

Buying Amgen is probably a good approch along with a well managed Generic company. Teva Pharmacuticals is one of the best and at a good price point now.
