So do I. We each have our views of how American might grow as a nation. I see the past three years as a disaster, you see it as progress.

If we were all to agree on the path we should take in the future, I doubt there would be any progress, there would be stagnation. The U.S. has always depended on the opposition in the form of the party not currently in power to keep things on the right and narrow.

Lately the two parties have been too closely aligned for the system to work well, but I have hopes for the future.

I see your path as disaster, that's how the system works. You see things differently (p.s. your path really is disaster).
