On the contrary, when a national polling organization is that far off, it's important for radio listeners to know about it.

Look at the way the stock market reacted to the misleading Florida exit polls. That alone shows the problems with excessive public confidence in polling services. I know this is not what you want to hear, but I think Brinker has ended up doing his radio listeners a great service.
