One of my brothers, with cerebral palsy, met Urich when he was with the road company of "Chicago". They talked for awhile, had a picture taken, gave an autograph, that sort of thing. He really was a sweet guy. A lot of people are nice to my brother, but he really spent some time and got involved in a conversation. My brother used to hang around the Capitol a lot, and had a lot of friends on the Capitol police force and on various staffs. He met various politicians. He said that Alan Simpson was a great guy, as were Orin Hatch and Henry Hyde, but Ted Kennedy would barely acknowledge him if they were in proximity, and shied away from him when they might have ended up in a small group together.
