Yes, her taped message was an especially moving tribute. My English friends also thought quite highly of her handpicked successor, John Major. He had a tough row to hoe but rigidly held to policies that prevented the UK from suffering Europe's economic woes. Blair was smart to generally continue those very same policies.

Blair's words to Parliament regarding Iraq and terrorism in general were very similar to Churchill's warnings of the late 1930's. I admire both men very much--MK--
