The Chickanery thread is now old hat. I should warn you Grainne, the climate of SI has been volatile. (too late I see)SI recently rearranged the way information is presented to enhance "investor related" content. Thread creators can now moderate threads allowing the conversation to be directed as the moderator wishes using a BAN feature. You can view how many discussions have banned a member by looking at a members profile. You can tell how many people have bookmarked a member and can see how many members have a poster on Ignore, so a lot of changes in the profile. SI hasn't really changed a lot since you left, we have grown stronger, we have become tougher but mostly what we have done is grown a few years older, for the most part gracefully.

You can still find excellent investment advice and information on many threads, if you have any money left for stocks after buying gasoline.
