So true, I don't think many pundits get it when they talk about values. They keep harping on and on about gay marriage rights, but it's more about civility, decency, honesty and integrity.
The Clinton wing of the Democrat party which controls the spin, still thinks they can fool the voters during the election phase with their slick sounding rhetoric. I think the electorate is tired of people like Carville and McCauliffe who try and take every event happening in the public arena and blame it on the candidate. The last straw for many may have been the flue shot. The American people know the President doesn't control the amount of vaccine available, yet they spun and spun that nonsense, pointing out to intelligent voters they were spinning allot of other things as well.
Decent people, people who believe in moral values, know instinctively you don't attack your opponents daughter for being gay. It's just not civil.
Decent people, people who believe in moral values, know you don't blame every event, which doesn't go perfectly in war on the President. They don't blame the military for a few missing expolosives, and force the military to nervously stand up on a podium and go through the tortured explanation of what might have happened.
Decent people, people who believe in moral values, know you're going to be held accountable for what you say.
Decent people also don't blame the President when a few undiscipled soldiers act dishonorably while holding prisoners.
The Democrats think in their heart of hearts they can get away with saying anything, because the MSM re-enforces their ideas as being "really important". When any thinking person can see the charade stunts they are pulling for political gain.
Arrogance, built on the mental models of intellectual elitism knows no bounds of condescension and petulance. The American people, the people who really make this country great, can see right through it. And this time, they decided to go to the voting booth instead of working that extra few hours, or sitting down with their kid to do homework.
They knew this one was really important, so they went and voted. 8 MILLION more of them.
That's why large turnouts favor Republicans, and why moral behavior matters. |
