Well, as far as I know, the Iraqis have never attacked the Americans. It was we Americans who attacked them in 1991, killing 100,000s of civillians, who sanctioned them for over a decaded, killing 100,000s more innocent Iraqis, who just attacked them again unprovoked (they didn't pull off 9/11), killing 10,000s more.
You know, in many quarters of this planet, it is the Americans and Anglos who are preceived as the "killers of innocents", and after the Viet Nam debacle and are imperialist disposition and killing of Iraqis, they have a point.
The U.S. military is responsible for the deaths of 58,000 Americans in Viet Nam. Perhaps we should just disband our military and lower the American death rate, and save foreign lives at the same time. :-)
Jesus was about brotherhood of man, and taking care of everyone, not killing in the name of anything. What a pathetic excuse for a Christain nation America is.
I'll tell you what a Christain America would do. We'd par back our military and only use it in the most extreme defensive situations. We'd make sure everyone is clothed, housed and fed. We'd rid ourselves of glutoness lifestyles like oil dependency and learn to live within our means. |
