RE: "Tolerance is an issue that cuts both ways" Yes, certainly calling Kerry "flip flop", liar, etc. can hardly be viewed as tolerant... tolerance is something both sides need to work on, especially the side controlling government...and quite frankly, most people DO NOT view Democrats as "extremists"....that is the danger in your position...the reps (you) need to accept they need to move to the center. Anyway, talk of secession is useful...because it will help bring awareness the Dems are seeking from a "you are with me or against me" leader.
