Could it be that someone with an agenda put out the deaths linked to Celebrex story?? (Kind of reminds me of Grisham's the last juror)

Canada says no proof Pfizer Celebrex causing deaths
Thu Nov 4, 2004 11:06 AM ET

OTTAWA, Nov 4 (Reuters) - Despite the deaths over several years of 14 patients who were taking Pfizer Inc.'s (PFE.N: Quote, Profile, Research) Celebrex, there is no proof that the arthritis drug was in any way the cause, the Canadian government's health department said on Thursday.
"There hasn't been a causal link established," Health Canada spokeswoman Jirina Vlk said. "It may be connected to the 14 deaths or it may not have been connected to the 14 deaths... They could have been dying just because they were dying anyway."

Shares in Pfizer Inc. (PFE.N: Quote, Profile, Research) fell on New York Stock Exchange on Thursday after an article in Canada's National Post newspaper that referred to the 14 deaths.
