Pride of ownership? You'll have nothing if Bush privatizes it. Why is the cost to privatize estimated to be $2 trillion. A friend of mine who works at SS told me two years ago- as of that time - the pile of money in SS would last through 2045. Six months ago, she told me "things change weekly w/Bush. No one knows".
