He's saying that the vote margin was large enough (70k per state) that he's going to push congress to get off their ass and do something about SS and a few other things. Whether I agree with them all is yet to be seen. But I want SS fixed and I don't think the Democrats in office want that to happen under Bush because he might look good. I agree the system is screwed I just don't agree that its all on one side. And you guys complain about Bush not being willing to own up to mistakes? Get real - the democrats have played a role in getting us here as well. The national debt didn't start with GW Bush
