John, <"There is a disadvantage to a surgeon taking his time"> I think the subject is getting into one of "terminology". The comparision is meant between some doctor "taking his time" and "rushing". Perhaps a surgeon has an early tee-off time. He knows that his God is helping him with the scapel, so, the surgeon figures that he can "rush" things and not be too careful because God will cover up his mistakes. By the way, even though a doctor has to go thru school, I have met some doctors for which I wouldn't want my dog as his patient, prayer or not!
