Hmmm. I never thought I would have common ground with a socialist but here we are! You want out and I want you out.

If you're serious, you need to think somewhat smaller at first. You will never grab large states. You need a state with a lower population (easier to take over) and one that has good trade possibilities.(Money for your immoral beliefs)

I think Vermont would be perfect. You would already have a head start on the number of Godless heathens living there. It also borders Quebec if I am not mistaken, so you can get economic support from those burly french canadians.

From there you could expand to other New England states.

I think you will have a better chance of that happening then winning the next election.
